We’re running a series of FREE Evening Sessions at Glasgow Kelvin College Musical Workshop (1200 Westerhouse Rd, Glasgow G34 9HZ) starting February!

The evening sessions are a condensed, streamlined and music focused form of the Girls Rock Glasgow summer school week. They’re a chance for girls aged 12-16 who may have missed the summer school to come and try out different instruments, make new pals, form a band, write a song and perform it at a showcase gig!

The Evening Sessions will run 5-8pm over the course of 6 weeks on the following dates: 

  • Tuesday 18th February  
  • Tuesday 25th February 
  • Tuesday 3rd March 
  • Tuesday 10th March 
  • Tuesday 17th March 
  • Tuesday 24th March 
  • Perform at a showcase gig! (Date TBC)

Girls Rock Glasgow is for anyone who identifies as a girl and non-binary kids. This session is for 8-16 year olds.

No previous musical experience is necessary, but we will ask for info about experience just to help our tutors tailor the workshops best to each girl.

There are only 16 places for this course, and applications will be on a first come first served basis.
